Street Fighter is watchable for precisely 2 reasons. 1 - Kylies ass. 2 - The preposterously camp potrayal of M.Bison by Raul Julia (sorry that should read mmmmmmMMMMMMmmmmmmm Bison). It's pure comedy
Blade 1, 2 & Trinity Death Race and Death Race 2 Mad Max 2: Beyond the Thunderdome Escape from New York Bourne Trilogy I seriously love Death Race 1. Seriously.
FTFY. 2 was 'The Road Warrior'. I hope you meant 2 and not 3 btw, 3 was just a glorified Tina Turner music vid. EDIT: just remembered another one, Machete. Utterly ridiculous and awesome because of it
+1 Statham seems to be the only cheesy action film man of his generation. So on that note Crank 1 & 2.
if you can get ahold of this movie.. it's comedy gold- including a sock puppet dragon and bats on strings my favorite b flick of all time.. they even recycle midgets in this one bo looks like he can't wait for the movie to end too.. in the fight scenes he looks like he just drank a couple bottles of hooch and belly flops into a river on a dive scene.. the only reason think they didn't retake is because they had no budget.. the special effects are all from stock footage used in other movies xD
Generally +1 to this, with the exception of Trasporter 3. That make-out-with-the-ugly-ginger scene ruins it. On that note: Anything by Uwe Boll: In the Name of the King, Far Cry, Postal, Blood Rayne
Definitely Machete and Shoot 'Em Up. Transporter 1,2 & 3, Rush Hour trilogy, Predators, AvP and AvP Requiem, RED, Payback. Any of the pre-Hollywood Jackie Chan films are usually worth a watch as well.
The Rock Con Air Big Trouble in Little China Rush Hour Forbidden Kingdom (Jackie Chan/Jet Li in a remake of the 60's TV series Monkey) The One (Jet Li) The Mechanic The Vampires Assistant Equilibrium Pitch Black Chronicles of Riddick The Transporter (1/2/3) The Matrix Drive Angry T2 Mortal Kombat (ignore the 2nd one) Despicable Me Independence Day Star Trek 11 Tremors (2 & 3 aren't bad either, 4 is pushing it) The Punisher Guyver 2: Dark Hero edit: almost forgot RED, awesome film
Not exactly a brain dead flick but I got Minority Report on Blu Ray a few days ago. I'm guessing most people have seen it, but it's pretty good anyways.
Terminator and Terminator 2 are excellent, the Aliens movies are also great well the first two are and as previously said the Die Hard movies also an easy action watch
no, not enough action + being a Brit i can say British films for the most part are rubbish. the last good one i saw was Dog Soldiers.
You could always try Priest. It's weird matrix meets borderlands stuff with weird Giger looking Vamps in it.
