Looking to hear some good UK hardcore bands, the only band i know about is Funeral For A Friend. Please enlighten me!
Funeral For A Friend aren't proper hardcore. So if some fool says lostprophets, they're getting a right kicking in the groinal area. November Coming Fire - www.novembercomingfire.com -edit Can't be bothered listing the urls for these, so google them: The Legacy The Break In On Thin Ice Beecher Johnny Truant
Some of the above bands aren't hardcore band either. Some metalcore and noise amongst that lot. So, here's some other semi-hardcore bands from the UK everyone should listen to: The Nothing - http://www.thenothingonline.co.uk/ Bring Me The Horizon - http://www.bringmethehorizon.tk/ Phinius Gage - http://www.morehastemorespeed.co.uk/ The Devil Rides Out - http://www.thedevilridesout.com/ The Horror - http://www.wearethehorror.co.uk/home.html Trencher - http://www.trencher.tk/ Narcosis - http://www.angelfire.com/extreme3/narcosis/
Hardcore as in gabba? Or hardcore as in that grebo shite? If gabba, then check out Rotterdam Terror Corps. If that grebo shite, get a life! Or at least some proper taste in music!
Don't flame other forum members and at least learn what a 'grebo' is before bandying it about. RTC suck hairy man scrote anyway. Speaking of Grebos...PWEI...just because. Grindcore: Napalm Death and Carcass. Hardcore: Stampin' Ground, Five Knuckle Just really ****ing good: G. U. Medicine, Iron Monkey, Murder One (Ska Chords in a metal track? Love it.) *n
what the hell? guys, it's music. GRINDCORE!? seriously, i want to punch whoever comes up with these names in the face. repeatedly. genres suck arse in a way i cannot fully comprehend. why do you need to pigeon-hole EVERYTHING!? /rant edit, yeah, that would be a missing n.
Here we go... the free thinking, progressive music fan that doesn't believe in genre boundaries blah blah blah. I suggest that if you can't 'fully comprehend' something you avoid passing comment on it too. Talk about trolling... Soulfly, are you looking for bands that specifically play hardcore, or just heavy aggressive music with a bit of credibility? If it's the later I could reel off a million bands worth checking out... *looks at Penski and K*
ok if you nerds can stop whining about each other for a minute might i suggest carnal forge and children of bodom (i think they are called) listen to 'bury your dead' ok these are what i personally would call hardcore bands but if there are some obscure names please dont burst into this thread crying and trying to flame me etc... oh yeh i downloaded a 'band' called 'nunwhore commando 666' and their album was called 'world whore 3' or something now that is the epitimy of hardcore (even though im sure it was just some german having a laugh)
Bury Your Dead are pretty damn cool. You might want to check out It Dies Today, although they generally swing more towards the punk side of things, but they're still pretty kickass. Also, Killswitch Engage, Dry Kill Logic, and Damageplan.
sorry for not making it clear i meant the SONG 'bury your dead' by the band 'children of bodom' trashcan 32 rock as well
Talk about hypocrisy.. I've never read such trolling from elitist music 'aficionados' in threads which are about music they clearly don't like. Obviously full comprehension makes it ok to slag off other people's music tastes and suggestions? if some fool says lostprophets, they're getting a right kicking in the groinal area. Funeral For A Friend, aren't they emo? You want hardcore? If that grebo shite, get a life! Or at least some proper taste in music! RTC suck hairy man scrote anyway. Oh, and before you say none of those comments were from you, I actually deleted your unhelpful post the otherday slagging someone off directly, which is a shame as I would have liked to have included it.
How inevitable was this thread, eh? Hate to fanboyishly plug Mike's site but http://www.vendettazine.co.uk to find anything *core related. From my experience, some good UK bands are cryforsilence and Hiding With Girls. I see Trivium got to you too Mike
