Invited a couple of my more techno oriented friends - might have them spread the word too. But as GeorgeStorm said, it really seems to be just a Facebook clone. But. If the events on it integrates with Google Calendar, I am sold on it.
I reckon give them time and I reckon they will make it a lot better and I like the link with my google phone
It's probably a bit of the 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it' mentality from Google. Their first attempts at social sites failed, so I guess going down the Facebook + Circles = win? route is worth a shot.
anyone want any invites? Iv joined myself and think its pretty cool so far, very simplistic. Facebook i really hate but use to keep in touch with friends...its just more convenient but i have no loyalty to them...especially with their lack of privacy etc
Cmon guys at-least dish out some +rep for the people you get invites off, given out 7 today and only got rep from one person. EDIT: Thanks
Still have invites, so PM me email addys and I'll invite you. Give me your name as well so that I know what circles to put you in.
Bit-tech circle? im curious how does name have got anything to do with which circle you put them in? alphabetical circles?
No unfortunately it doesn't tell you what E-Mail it is, it just gives you their name, so you could invite 20 people in a day from all over the place and not know who's who unless you're on a full name basis with them etc.
