I've said it before and I'll say it again...I'd be totally lost on the web without Google.

    Nice one Wonka :thumb:

Yeah, google is up some $36 a share overnight. And here's little ol' me selling at 309 the day before. Luckily it's just a simulation for school.

I don't know that I see anyone buying out AOL, seeing as it's owned by Time Warner, easily one of the biggest electronic and print media and production companies in existence... Then again, I could have missed that memo, but seeing as it's AOL Time Warner, I don't really see it getting bought off.

For the record, AOL Time Warner is hundreds of smaller companies being bought every day, those just happen to be the biggest three they own. Again, I don't forsee AOL getting bought...

Humm, google talk, gmail, google office?. I have a feeling that soon google will intergrate it all into GoogleOS. Anyone else think that it might happen? Granted it prob wont be an all singing all dancing OS but for a web cafe its going to be good.

I think it is possible. A few years ago it was thought to be impossible for anybody to challange Microsoft successfully, let alone a company that has been around for just a few years. But now Google is now getting bigger and bigger so fast, that they are now considered Microsoft's rivals.

Is it such a good idea to have so many OSs though? We have Linux, Mac, Windows, Solaris, if we have a Google OS, would it be good for thrid party software who have to design their software to work on yet more OSs?
