Would it allow for multi-users to use the one calendar? I know you mention multi-users being able to access each others calendars - just that one calendar which all staff could add in their meetings would be great.

This is looking good and all but my main calander use is on my PDA, which integrates nicely with Outlook. I'll be sticking to that for now.

Been looking forward to this; going to try it out now...

Edit: Very impressed - typical Google application. Fast, clean and responsive... what more could you want?

Edit2: OK, there is more you could want... integration with Google Personalised Home would be nice.

    I thought I've been having:
Google should start a job search application to compete with Monster.com, dice.com etc....

    1. They could charge money to people posting positions (standard in the industry,)
    2. they could have google ads on the page with the job ads
    3. the google name would gain them instant market share

    Anyone from google.com reading this?

Ooooh I'll admit it's pretty niffty the way you can quick add. Still don't see myself moving away from outlook / pda / phone integration.

So not content with knowing where you live and what you search for, Google now knows what you're planning?

    Hi, big brother! :worried:

I wish it had pre-done erm, what do you call them. Like easter and stuff. So i can search to see when <stuff> is. Maybe that is going to be added :)

The shareable nature of the calendars means, I'm sure, people will be posting all sorts of useful things on there ready for you just to drop into your own calendar. Things like holidays (on a per-country basis as they differ from place to place), major upcoming events (elections, world cup matches, major film releases etc.)

This is pretty schweet. Need a little widget (perhaps an add-on to Google Desktop search) that automatically syncs your Outlook with your Google Calendar. Shouldn't be too hard - you can already import / export calendars. That would be great - fast, searchable online calendar from any internet connection, even when your home machine is offline. (Though I already have this with my work account, thanks to Exchange's whizzy web server thing).

    1. Click the + next to Other Calendars.
    2. Select Holiday Calendars.
    3. Scroll down to the country you want to add holidays from.
    4. Click Add Calendar.
    5. Bingo, you can now see public holidays in yours.

quack: not on my Calender for some reason... (Using IE at Uni atm, will check when I get home)

I like the quick link tab on the top left (Google, Gmail, Calender, More>>), but I think they could improve it by making it into a tabbed interface, so rather then opening a new window, it has a single window which just *slips* between each interface.

(Using IE at uni though, will check on FF later)

Works fine now I'm at home. I don't know if it was IE or not though.

Anyone else on IE to check?

    Google Calendar... HTML???

So here’s the scenario - I want to publish a calendar on my website; my visitor’s can 1) click on a link to download an ical file (must have a supporting application); 2) click on an xml feed link (rediculous) or 3) click on a link asking them to sign up to Google Calendar.

    Fantastic...

Am I stupid, or would the inclusion of HTML publishing be a worthwhile feature?
