Other Google Removes + Operator from Searches

    Chaps,
    I've just realised that Google silently removed the 'plus' operator from its search syntax :


    Searching for
    • +john +paul +ringo
    will be interpreted as
    • john OR paul OR ringo

    The workaround appears to be to put the whole search term in quotes e.g.
    • "john paul ringo"

    I always thought "john paul ringo" would return that exact string?

    anyway, although useful, googling doesn't really constitute gaming for me.

    In quotes it does search on the exact phrase.

    Click on tools (top right) and select advanced search. you can enter your search under the option for all words, or, etc.
