I just wanted to post in here so it stays on top for a while. Sketchup is possibly one of the most awsome entry-level drafting apps out there, and the fact that it is free for personal use just makes it all the better!
Does anyone know how to print off sketchup model in like a blueprint type mode or something? I have made a detailed model with accurate lengths and it now needs to be made for real. Am i just gonna have to use the view modes in wireframe or something? sid
Download the professional version trial, open the file you made with google sketchup, and export it to an autocad type format and go from there
Hmm ok thanks , I just learned how to use section planes so hopefully that will sort out any possible misunderstandings on how to make it or whatever sid
Just installed it and tried it out, very easy to use even for some one who has never touched this kind of software (me).
