    I... actually like Motoblur, there are lots of things that are well made, I use lots of Motoblur's gadgets, and I really like my phone (Moto Defy), it's really quite sturdy.

    Well i can say Microsoft is not worried at all. They make more money with Android then their own mobile OS!

    Handset patents iirc. A proportion of all HTC sales go to MS.

    I'm pretty sure they are just buying them for their patents and to stop leaking money to Apple and Microsoft from the patents they own.


    Patents are scary, I can see a lot of great idea being stop from coming to fruition because people are scared of patent lawsuits

    I believe this is what google was aiming to do since they first acquired Android. (maybe not buying MM but definitely starting releasing OS on their own devices)
