Great another feature added to the internet monopoly of Google

 

Maybe it's just me but I just don't see the point of "social bookmarking" aka link dump sites.

 

Google = Trying to pwn the world, maybe they will rule over everything one day.

They do produce some very good products though, GMail is awesome and Google Earth is very cool.

 

They can be useful if you move between computers often, because you can move your bookmarks with you. I think Hex does this with del.icio.us. But that's about the only useful thing I can see.

 

thats why I just have my website as a Bookmark Dumpsite

 

what about the people that dont have a website?

this service is very interesting, imagine that you have a comunity of friends that you want to share you bookmarks and you want to see their bookmarks, this would be a great even for companies. i will use it and if good will use it permenently

so Vista is another OS for the OS monopoly that is M$.

if Google competes with M$ i am glad, anyway my search engine of choice is Google.

Well, I can remember the URLs of the bookmarks that I will need when I am moving about, of which there aren't many.

 

well, same.. however, my dumpsite lets me find something if I know what im looking for and I know where, I just dont remember the url or the site name.
