wow, havent seen one of these in a LONG time. A cable that the keyboard AND mouse connect to will plug into that weird port on the back. I cant tell you off hand what its called or where to get one but ebay always works if nothing else. If you can try to get everything to that computer off of the original owners.

Youve got an old legacy AT system. go to a local comp store and see if they have any AT keyboards. the plug for them is about twice the size of PS2. Your mouse will prolly need to be serial also. Don't worry bout the tape drive, i used mine mainly for backup.

LOL, she looks good, but are you confused about the stickering, or the keyboard plug? If it's the stickering, then obviously they replaced the mobo with an older one :p as the case is designed for a board with PS/2 ports insted of the older keyboard plug. Or else if your confused about the plug itself, you can buy an adaptor to transform a ps/2 keyboard plug so that it'll fit into that plug. I'm guessing you've got a 100mhz intel on your hands :p I'd guess arround 32mb of RAM, under 1gig hdd, and a 5-8x cd-rom. Nice find :D Can we get some head-on shots of the entire case?

NO NO NO NO NO, the mouse does not plug into that port!!! The mobo has been replaced (as I allready stated :p) To plug in a ps/2 mouse, you will either need to buy a ps/2 to serial adapter and pray like hell that your mouse is serial compatable, or get a ps/2 card that gives you a free ps/2 port (they have these, rare, but they do exist). And don't worry about the tape drive, they we're solely used as backup, or in the rare case, to house games on (I've seen brand new games come on tapes lol). I say keep it, show off your retroness!!

As said before, you'll need to plug your mouse into one of the serial ports.

You can do some serious DOS programming with it after you get it up and running. Maybe you can find a copy of DOOM1.

What would be more interesting would be to stick a uATX board in there all hidden. Then, you can bring it to lan parties and run it with a window in the side showing how old it is, but run todays games on it. People would think it was a pre-MMX computer running common games. That would be a laugh, and unique: Hiding a computer in a computer.

well, I've worked on some AT computers in the past and know that some AT Keyboards have a serial port in the AT keyboard itself so you plug the keyboard up and then you plug the serial mouse into the keyboard. Not all have this but it may be another option if you really wanna get it running. I still think your wasting your time with that thing. Later in life its going to be in the way and then your wife will be giving you threats to throw your old computer crap out and the nagging won't stop till you do. :D so best to save yourself the hassle. :D :thumb:
