Those cards are pretty damn good value for money, that score is only ~2000 off my GTX. It'd be even closer when unlocked (only the Sapphire ones unlock IIRC).

Crazy guy! I can definately do better, but theres no way I'm sticking a pelt on it and going that extreme. Under water and voltmodded I might hit 650/625 or so, but who knows. Need to experiment a bit and see if can water cool the card's RAM without too much restriction... Will try the Omega drivers as well.

But value-wise this card cant be beat. Paid under $350 for that Opteron and x800GTO combined...

How much did the connect3d cards set you all back ?
Just trying to compare this for value against the x80xxl (which is already 16 pipes) and even the 6800GT etc.
I think my 6800gt used to give about 6k anyhow. And they can be had for near 150.
    What you guys think?

A GTO2 is 99% garuanteed to unlock with out any problems. With a standard GTO it either might not unlock or the pipelines could be damaged leading to artifacts.

...This makes no sense. I get around 5533 with my 6800GT at 415/1080 in '05. Either the X800GTO is officially the new value for money card for the next two months, or I'm smelling some BS...

No BS here - that was running at the clocks noted and with an Opteron (San Diego) overclocked past FX-57 speeds. I'm hoping to pass 7k soon (finals week ATM) after putting it on water and possible doing a slight volt mod. They are excellent cards, but I've been seeing 7800GTs for $280 or so, which also are a good option.
