    Actually now that you mention it, my user title was edited by someone other than myself. Could be GCHQ... or perhaps it was just Parge.

    I'm amazed how many people say "Oh, I don't mind, as long as it's done properly with some oversight". What makes anyone think that oversight is even feasible? Maybe there will be some kind of procedure for complaints, but there's no way any meaningful fraction of the uses of these powers will ever be subjected to meaningful oversight. You might as well expect every video on YouTube to be pre-vetted.
