It wont make any difference, you can choose a card by either company.

Ty blackswordsman, that looks perfect. Now I just wanna double check that a 430W PSU will suffice. Trying to find some more data on it.

    EDIT:
Well it calls for a 450W min, and 2 6pin connections. I don't know if my PSU can handle that.

4870 will do for you , I dunno why peope keep recommending GTX 260s, the £20 more expensive 4890 minces it... either that or a 9600GT (leagues apart though) for £55 ~ $80?

Ya, my PSU doesn't have 2 6 pin connectors required to run the 4870 so dam, because that is a perfect price.

I've got what look to be 2 4 extra 4 pin connections open, but manufacturer calls for 500 (read that wrong first time) min and I don't wanna get a card that I can't use. Also, not sure if the card comes with the Y 4 pin molex connectors to 6 pin.

ok, so I think im going to settle with the 4850. Not spectacular performance but it will get the job done and hold my rig over till I make my new one in a year or so.

Thanks to all of you for the input.
