Basically the topic question, looking at an nvidia card specifically. I have a 285 gtx currently but it's on it's way out. Looking to get something more powerful at least. Help please!

1080 at the moment, not intending to change monitor for a good while.

Yeah a 570 will give you the best for that price range.

    I'd say 570, not really a contest.

    Yep a 570 or a 560 ti 448. No point getting a 560 ti 448 though. The cheapest 570 @ Scan is £239.94.

Ahh it would seem that Hardware king is throwing all the google pricing off, most 570's will be above your limit, if you can find a 448 core 560TI then go for it, otherwise a 2GB 560TI (384 core) should see you into the future.

Yeh, I think all/most 570's are above £200. A 560 ti 448 might actually be the best choice if going down the Nvidia route. 6950's could be purchased for under £200, so that would also be a good choice.

I'd avoid Hardware King, looks far too good to be true.

Hardwarekings is a scam site as far as I've read. It doesn't look very professional imo.

I'd go for a 570 if you can stretch to 240 or so, otherwise the 6950 is pretty good bang for the buck.

Went for the msi 570 in the end, I really meant the "roughly".
