    edit - didn't see picture.

Also, it will be a massive waste if they don't make this Live! enabled.

I might get that... just because I didnt get GTA3 for my ps2 (did for my pc, but its a nightmare to get working)

...I wonder if they improved it somehow?

    BTW.
is there another GTA comming out anytime? I want to run over a new hooker :p

Oncw they'd converted it to the PC, it was probably just a matter of marketing which stopped them releasing it on the XBox for so long.

Doubt it'll be Multiplayer or else there'd be uproar from the PC crowd.

It will not be multi-player. The only time GTA is EVER multiplayer is via the multitheft auto mod for PC.

They didnt bring it out for xbox for so long is because Sony has a contract with rock* untill nov. 4th that GTA can only come out for PC and PS so the only way its not gonna be for xbox is if Sony pays another 10 million dollers to regain controll. This is where I think the xbox is gonna pull ahead of the crowd.

I think it's too little too late.. many XBox owners are PS2 or PC owners anyway and will already have bought GTA on the PC.

    Scroll down for game titles.

There is an entry for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas quoted for release as 3rd Quarter 2004.

Apparently, rockstar have recently registeres a number of website addresses with various permutations of san andreas.

So it was true then - rockstar is re-creating the original GTA in 3 parts... remember the original GTA - how it had 3 cities, Liberty - Vice - San Andreas.... Notice a Pattern?

No Live but the xbox has:

    5.1 Surround
    Support for High Definition TVs
    Custom soundtracks :)D)
    Faster/Less loading
    Better Textures and graphics

As to graphics - they exceed the PS2, but are sub-par to par with pc. How would you do a custom soundtrack on an xbox?

The Xbox allows you to rid music off CD's to its 8 or 10 GB HDD

Yup, also you cannot move the music about as it's kept in a database.

Not really. It would be difficult to just hook it up to a regular computer to say the least. Anyway, its not illegal to make duplicates of the media you've purchased. Its just illegal to distribute. It would be much easier to rip the music on your PC and distribute it if thats your thing. Ripping it to the Xbox and (trying) to transfer it to your computer would be very time consuming and pointless.

The graphics look pretty decent. I've already played through GTA3 and GTA:VC so I don't plan on buying it, but it does look good.
