Night time pretty pictures:
i can max the game on my rig! jesus Christ and its smooth! WHATS GOING ON, WHAT IS THIS MAGIC
I was staggered this morning. Running perfectly fine with pretty much everything on 'very high'.
Maybe they learned from the cluster**** of IV. Can't complain!
I'm hoping I can run it on high... Got to do the kids run, walk the dog chores and then I might be able to switch it on. Fell asleep last night... Idiot!
So I woke up at 7 and had a quick go with the game before I went to work, everything is just as I remembered on the 360 version, except way better looking.
1440p all maxed out no MSAA uses just under 3.4GB according to in-game menu, perfect for my VRAM challenged 970.
If you have the Steam version, you can do it via Steam I think. "You can enable this feature by clicking the Steam menu, selecting Settings, choosing the In-Game category, and picking a position for the In-Game FPS Counter."
Perfect, that worked, Show's between 59 and 60fps
I think I just ran over my first sheep/ goat/ llama... Crying with laughter at the moment - I wish I recorded it!
Only tried story mode so far but looking and playing brilliantly, vehicles are a bit weird to drive with K/M so hooked up my 360 controller and way easier.
Going to get the hang of it a bit more before jumping into the Online part, overall though very happy with this game
Game runs pretty well. Graphics menu shows it is using 3072MB of my 780's 3GB VRAM
Running 29" ASUS Ultrawide IPS, looks very beautiful. a few settings i had to turn off as it would go over the ram limit. I think those were in the advance settings option.
will play more today evening after work
I have aGTX 780 and put pretty much athe settings up to highest they can, but the game still doesn't look all that spectacular?
What should I be enabling over other options to make it look great? Should I out monitor to 119hz as it shows the option or keep down to 60hz (monitor is 120hz one)?
I get the vram to about 2900 on my 3GB card.
Just seems quite, bland so far. No better looking than GTA4 :/
Won't be able to play with mine until tomorrow
All this talk is making me glad that my 680s are of the 4GB variety...
It's very good.
Stole a car, shot some people, sold car for profit, what is not to like
final 350mb downloading now. 60Gb only took 4 days straight on my 4MB connection...
Think you had unrealistic expectations Pete. Gta 4 with the mods that they had launched to enhance graphics was already way above gta 5 on consoles.
The game runs great and in truth if you ignore draw distance it looks very similar to a ps4 version of the game. Is it better than gta4 with the graphics mods that are out there not even close but did not expect it would be.
Running game on 2 680s the game Maxs easy enough and seems a lot better than gta4 was on launch for performance. I'd actually say gta5 runs better than many expected it would.
Played the game itself before and will slowly work through it.
Just fonding out what its like by asking others to test it in DK2 since it has full support now
Really looking forward to checking this out but will do it end of month.
I want to check out the first person driving in gta five land along with t500
Pretty gaming experience if its well done for dk2 and can expect even better profiles as most of the 100k dk2 will be gotten into this game no dought.
Glad I went for a 4GB GTX 770, using 3751MB with everything maxed out, I could push it over 4GB vram usage but took it back a little & it runs nicely at 1440p, first person view is better on PC than ps4.
Looks effing awesome.
Driving seemed a bit off on older drivers but that's fixed on the new drivers.
Gigabyte GA-Z97N-GAMING-5 mini-ITX
8GB DDR3 1600mhz
GTX 770 4GB
256GB Samsung SSD
1TB Western Digital black
Ordered it on disk from Amazon due to terrible download speeds... then forgot that I haven't had a DVD drive in my computer since 2012. Balls.
