    jus checking but all the ground wires goto black.


    thanks vis and acrim i got both my lcd and my kit today. nice 1 dude i havent put it together yet as i have been shopping for vinal with my mate today (hes a wanna be DJ )

    be EXTREMELY careful with soldering cos one of the 5V lines disconnected.. then i heard this "pop" as i think it came into contact with something on the back.. all those terminals...

    They're being sent out at the moment. Some people (including me :D) have received them today. Others will have to wait a few days.

    They've all arrived at Visualaid's house though.

    Just trying to wire mine up now, but I am 2 things short :(
    can you replace the 10k variable resistor with another one, in particualr 47k coz thats all I have lying around
    And what about a diff value for the normal 22k resistor, 2x12k in series be any good or would I just blow the LEDs?

    get the resistor exact or the backlighting go pop.
    as for resistor not sure.
