Visualaid, do you know roughly the percentage of import duty that the added on (before they added the VAT)? This would be really helpful, as I am trying to calculate costs before I make my bulk LCD order, to save people having to send more money.

 

purely VAT what they added. as it's going i am gonna have to pay about £50 of this on my own . Not good when all i wanted was to get some cheap screens.

Sorry to bore you, but just for future refference as someone said before.
I bought a load of watercooling kit from a guy in America, it was quite a large purchase and package, so the guy agreed to label it as a gift.
Just so happened that it was my birthday that month, so the good fella plastered the box with "happy birthday" lol. Unfortunatly he also posted it by the wrong postal method so it took a month to get here, but arrived the day after my birthday!

And the moral of this story is: white lies save moneys $$$ :d

(and the main point was that I wasn't charged inport tax)

 

Ok, sorry about the dumb questions comming here.

Them screens, do they have everything with them? like are they them ones that can show you whats playing on winamp or whatever? If not, how much more do i have to pay for it to get it to work.

£3 for a screen is sick money! how many have you got hanging about?


I missed the thread where he ordered them, so maybe a link to one would be great.

I suppose all of them have peoples names on them cause they were ordered, but post in here if you have any hanging about if someone drops out or something.

P.P.S Can someone please take pics of theres, and them installing it and setting up the software with screen pics please.. for the dumber of us around. Yes i am aware there is guides, but if its with this exact one, exact same stuff there can't be any arguements right?

most of them probably use LCDC or LCD studio

 

so those of you using lcdstudio to run this lcd- whats it like? buggy or not ? and LCDC- is it worth shelling out for?
