    Scan have already dropped the price of the 4870X2 to £240... which is very annoying considering that I bit over the weekend when it was £257. Bah.

    Yeah I saw that too. Only trouble is I'd need to water-cool it and a full cover block would add £50-100 :waah:

    Awwwwww man! Wish I had the money for these shiny new GPUs. I'm a poor sorry student with absolutely no money at all for a new PC. I am still on a 7800GTX and an Athlon 64 4000+....... :( (DOn't get me wrong - great system, but it just doesn't cut it out any longer with the latest and baddest games....)

    Sapphire ATI Radeon HD4870 512MB £103.49. The 1GB version does offer a mittle more performance but if you have something like an 8800GT or older and don't game above 16x10 this would be a pretty sweet deal.
