It's nice to get the view of more than one website, and it's also nice to get the views of the actual users too... hence why there's a forum here to talk about graphics card choices.

 

Yes, however a basic guidline to which is better for what is nice. This forum coudl be more for is this better for ocing, does this run smoother, which has a better cooler, etc.

 

Admin, how about a sticky? I think it's worthy.

seriously...if i made a flix-the-cat gfx card, then gave thg plenty of money i would get an awesome review...seriously, they might be useful at times, but far off from reality hence no need for stickification!....just my 2p

 

it's comparing one to another, so it's not saying they are all good. It's comparing them, saying which is better.

 

that might be the case...i was just pointing out that facts coming from thg are usually not the most reliably around the place...well imo...but hey...

Yeah, THG reviews are generally very biased. I don't read them, that's for sure. In any case, using google works best since you can generally see more than one review of it and see if results are similar between reviews.

 

but the benchmark tests aren't biased becasue they are facts, they are just showing scores.

 

thats exactly what i was trying to say in a subtle way...if you pay me enough money i will make sure your product benchmarks better then others...obviously you have to draw the line that a 200mhz cpu wont bencmark against a 3200mhz...but there is some nice and some not so nice ways you can make a product perform/seem better overall then it really is...and with the amount of people reading thg it doesnt really matter all the same as they all go out and buy what theyre told (sheepeffect) and the company is happy as is tom!

 

they fiddle with the system setups and can't get them running with exactly the same hardware for some unknown reason... check this thread out... refers to their CPU reviews
