Hi, I just installed 2 matched 512mb modules to match the one I already have. But recently I have been getting Blue screens in RF Online (Recently being today), These seem only to happen when i hit a monster using my launcher. They arent BSOD's or if they are its not displaying any text. When this happens my HDD light is constantly on.

Im going to run memtest later but i was just wondering on other peoples opinions on this matter.

Ive tried with New and old; ATI Drivers, DNA Drivers and omega drivers, same thing. My graphics card is NOT overclocked and never has been.

It seems like you've been pretty thorough; I'd definitely try running memtest (try this Windows-based one) for a while.

When you say you get a blue screen with no text, does it restart instantly or just display a blank blue screen?

    Blank Blue screen, no restart.

    Edit

Also windows is being a pain to load up and logon at the moment, working slowly at logon, much slower than usual. Im going to try windows update, then repair windows with my pro disk.

    Edit 2

I belive that fear is one of the most visually intense games that I have so im going to try shoving that as high as my system will allow and then playing it, see what happens.

    Edit 3

Apparently my windows needs a defrag to the max so im gonna try that first.

    Update

    Defraged, No avail
Fear runs 100% on the highest settings my system can handle. Im now going to try reinstalling RF Online to see if it helps, i highly doubt it will work but meh its worth a try. Ill leave memtest on overnight.

 Also try Prime95's Torture Test too. Can I just check you're not running 3 sticks of RAM, that's always hideous (worse than running 4 which requires 2T Command Rate).

Also, Memtest 16 Passes no errors, i think i may try reinstalling the game, if my problem is the same as the guy above i wont be happy :( i love RF Online and i got my lvl 31 char now. Im not giving up on all that work (Damn PT's)

 I'd still suggest giving Prime95's Torture Test a whirl too. Also ensure your CPU and mobo are at default speeds, even back off your RAM timings (eg 1.7-1.8v 2.5-3-3) and obviously ensure you're using 2T. You've tried quite a few drivers so it's unlikely to help but I'd suggest giving the Omega Drivers a try too, read the readme/FAQ before installing (mostly uninstall existing non-Omega control panel). There could be other BIOS or driver-level settings causing issues, most important is disabling any kind of Spread Spectrum in the BIOS. I don't suppose you can try a different gfx card in there, ideally nVidia (just to help eliminate drivers as well as hardware). Best of luck.
