    Hi all

I am looking to upgrade my graphics card and after some advice as to what to get. Its been a long long time since I have bought anything decent!

    Current System:
    ASUS P5KPL-AM
    Intel Core 2 E7300 2.66GHz
    4GB RAM
    XFX 8400GS

    700W power supply

Current games played are HL2 CSS etc, Current card copes with this fine. Have recently got GTA: Episodes from liberty city and its shocking on the lowest settings!

New card will have to have a single PCIe Power as supply does not have any and will be powered from a molex converter.

Budget is at most £120, if there is anything worthwhile under £100 even better.

As an additional question is there anything wrong with chaining SATA power>Molex>PCIe to power the new card?

    Thanks for you thoughts.

Thanks for that, is this the only real consideration?

Any ideas on if i'll be ok chaining converting cables from a SATA power connector?

Could you not use two of the molex convertors?
Maybe a new psu is call for.

Why don't you wait until the GTS 450 comes out, If 460's are now retailing for around £120 then this may well come in at around £100 and hopefully, being less powerful, will only require a single power connection.

The release date should very soon.
