ok, its only started to happen today but after a while with my pc being on i get artifacts and lines all over my screen.

its a brand new ti4800 should i replace the thermal paste then wait and see if it re-occurs before phoning creative or what?

Are you overclocking it at all? I'm assuming not since you are mentioning phoning creative. :D And does it feel warm at all to the touch? Kind of sounds like it's maybe getting a little warmish.

If its brand new then rma it. Why risk voiding the warranty?

Yeah I'd agree with daniel_owen_uk. If it's new rma it. If you add thermal paste you'll void your warranty and if it doesn't fix it you'll be stuck for sure.

well, i think it might be the amount of dust in my pc so what ill do is clean it first then think about RMA'n it or maybe ill re-install the drivers.

I'd rather not RMA it as i cant wait for a replacement to come

actually im thinking your right, i turned the whole system off while i was on the phone (for about 2 hours) and the card was cold, then turned the system on for 5 mins then turned off again to clean the dust the card was warm (the back of the GPU, memory, everything) so maybe its that

also my cpu temp is alot higher than normal (43degrees currently)

so im hoping its that :)
