Long time no see folks- I am going to make some adjustments to my case and am looking for advice on what is best to use to protect my cables from being damaged by sharp aluminium. I cannot seem to find grommets to buy in the UK! anyone know of anywhere? It is basically just for a couple of smallish cuts on the motherboard tray and possibly a hole for a 120mm exhaust fan at the top of the case. Is there any thing else I can use to protect the cables that will also look neat and tidy? Thank's, Cus
Maybe Rubber C-channel? I think Mcmaster carr ships to the UK. I can't find anything saying they don't at least. Also if they aren't already sleeved, sleeving the cables would make them look nicer.
Halfords sell exactly what you are looking for. Also try Maplin as they tend to have a lot of good project hardware.
Thanks for the suggestion and the link skreenname but I have went with Ransoman's choice as they are in the UK. Thanks Ransoman, Maplins eh? would never have thought have trying there but went on to their site and found what I was looking for in 5 seconds flat.
Maplin sell a full range of grommets. For big fan holes you need rubber edging. KustomPCs is your shop.
No Probs, They are one of my favorite suppliers for odd little bits. Just don't buy any actual internal computer components from them (mobo's, graphics cards etc), their prices seem a little... "Crazy".
