ally sheedy molly ringwald emelio estevez anthony michael hall judd nelson that other chick rob lowe a couple 14 year old girls (sorry had to put that after rob lowe) mia sara matthew broderick alan ruck ( by association) ok so ive seen WAY too many john hughes movies ... so sue me, im old. i saw most of these flicks in the theatres first run ... i was 8 in 80, 17 in 89 ... so im pemanantly warped by the 80's ...
Hey, that wasn't only in the UK! Even though I was born in 89' I still think that video is cool AND is still the pinnacle of modern technology. Anyone here have A-Ha new album? It's got some really cheesy stuff on it.
born in 80s and all the cartoons are far superiour to todays tellytubbies / scooby doo if the cartoons are good then its good enough for me nuff said EDIT strange thing is i dont remember anything at all before 1990 this is really beginning to worry me what happened in 89 that a 6/7 year old might remember?
the guy from fingermouse looks like kain in robocop 2. he also looks like an al qaeda bloke. as i recall aalmost nothing happened in 89 worth any mention. possibly one of the tv stations showed a film that wasnt more than 5 years old. REMEMBER THAT? almost all films shown on telly were ancient/shown religously every year, and i also remember BEING the remote control for the damn thing
Ok, you made me feel old now! i was born in 1981 and I rememember all those things!!! I had care bears and my little pomy!! And we had a soda stream!!1
pomy? i had alomst all of the boys stuff when i was lil. had the neon socks watched all the cartoons still live there
mmm sodastream... /me has the following cartoons (download from numerous sources) Ulysses 31 Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors Danger Mouse Duck Tales Defenders of the Earth Tale Spin Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Thundercats Dennis the Menace (old version) He Man Gummi Bears etc.. Ok not all 80s, but the old cartoons were the best,
Thundering across the stars to save the universe from the Monster Minds, Jayce searches for his father to unite the magic root and lead his Lightning League to victory over the changing form of Saw Boss... Wheeled Warriors explode into battle - Lightning Strikes!
Theres a power that comes from deep inside of you, ever day your reaching for the light, and you know its a long long road ahead of you, but if your wheels get you there, things will turn out riggggggght!!!! sorry, had to
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors rocked!!! Can't believe you still know all the words to the intro Does anyone remeber StarFleet? (aka X-bomber) That was the coolest TV show - manga stylee puppets (it was made in Japan), just too cool for words. Not quite sure if it was 80s but thats certainly when I was watching it. I used to live for that show Terrahawks was the British effort from Gerry Anderson (cheaper looking IMO, but still cool)
