T16 Evo II For The Win!

Infineon Raceway - pwns all comers (Group C included) and does 55 second laps of the stock car track - don't like the track so don't use it that often.

    ATTACK TEH CURBS!!!! TEH CURBS!!!!!11ONE

Seriously, though - corners like the first right-hand corner - uphill, off-camber, blind - absolutely evil, you'd think....90% of lines will result in you sliding out to the far left at the least, at the worst, heading into the grass/barrier. The second right-hander is the same but more prone to you just running wide on exit, losing speed or even spinning when you get two wheels on the grass and try to brake for the tight right coming up.

It's really a track where you have to go completely balls-out attack mode or you'll get nowhere. A stiff setup will also fire you off into the weeds so try going default, lowering to within 20mm of minimum, taking 2-3 kg/m off the spring rates and upping rear strut brace to 7 and front to 7. I like a shitload of negative camber - it suits my driving style (very aggressive, late braking...kills tyres though :( ) so I tend to run 5 degrees negative at the front and around 2.5 degrees at the rear. Once you get into the groove of Infineon, it's great. My Datsun 240GZ kicks the ass of ANYTHING.

I'd have to agree with them - it's like racing on an airfield...completely bland and featureless...and wtf is with that last corner?

PS: Will try and get a photo of my 1/4 mile scoreboard.

I've had the best results running (front) negative 2.2-2.6 on rwd cars and negative 1.5-1.8 on fwd/awd, (rear) negative 1.0-1.2 on fwd/awd/rwd. (rear) 1 degree toe-in on rwd, 2 degree toe-in on fwd/awd, (front) neutral.

I run either a Viper GTS-R, Jag XJR-9, Viper GTS, or Suzuki Escudo.

Edit: GT4 is very boring with driving aids on.

How are the skylines in GT4. Part of what made GT for playstation so awesome was the 1989 R32 GT-R skyline at 970 HP or so.

Just try and catch me :)

I've gotten the Audi R8, Jag XJR-9, and Minolta Toyota over 325 on the test track.

I just turned a fast lap at the Ring...6:04.515 with a Viper GTS. The suspension setup doesn't look like it would work but it does. A bitch to control, however.

Edit: I've also run an 8.965 1/4-mile with the Viper. All wheel drive or better tires would be nice.

My point was 278.9MPH in a Supra RZ, slightly slower than an R8 etc ;)

Nismo is Nissan Motors motorsport company. They deal with aftermarket accessories for all nissan vehicles.

Taken from this site NISMO 400R and GT-R LM

NISMO stands for Nissan Motorsports and is the (you guessed it!) Motorsports division of Nissan which was responsible for the former Group A racing cars (meaning the GT-R Skyline which came out in 1989), as well as today’s JGTC (All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship) racing cars.

And this page about the 400R

    edit: Yay! post no. 666!

All I can find from a quick google on R32 nismo are nismo PARTS for the 1989 R32 Nissan Skyline GTR. And mentions of the vehicle in Gran Turismo.

    Then this
http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/cars_detail.asp?id=82 "1993 Nissan Skyline R32 2.6 GTR Nismo very rare & exspensive car"

Edit: Oh I do not doubt the car is available in GT4. The only Nismo skyline was the R33.

    R33 GT-R Nismo 400R - Nissan Skyline
The R33 series was very similar to its predecessor, the R32 series. The GT-R was continued, as was the optional all-wheel-drive layout of the sedans and coupes. The car was still very sporty, although it had grown a little in size and weight and had thus become less agile. The weight disadvantage was compensated in the engine department though, by the new normally aspirated RB25, a 2.5l inline-6 with 190hp for the GTS-4 and GTS25 versions, and the far more powerful RB25DET, a 2.5l inline-6 turbo with an output of 255hp, which worked in the GTS25t.
