The sheer size and variety of GTA:SA rocked. all i ever do in gta (except 3 which i fully completed for some reason o.0) is unlock all the areas then ignore the missions and freeroam. very good way to unwind!
Hopefully they increase the map size as it seemed they did between 3 (liberty) and 4 (liberty)
infact i just bought the steam multipack for NZ$20 and only installed 3, sa and 4.. i did not like VC, map seemed tiny!

Very good way to miss out on some great stuff. : (

The story missions and characters tend to be really good, and you even unlock items you can use for freeroaming.

I've played all the GTA's and the worst one for me was Vice City which everybody else seems to love. I missed it first time around and played it after San Andreas (my favorite) and it just seemed dull and limited. Ray Liotta's vice acting was so terrible it completely put me off too. For GTA V I want less family and girlfriend missions and more excellent scripts, great characters and superb voice acting. Please use the shooting mechanics from RDR as it actually worked unlike every GTA game.

    And for those who remember.

I think it would be better set in the Golden Triangle of Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Hull...

I'd guess a revisit to Vice City. They didn't need to use the Roman numeral 'V', the pattern inside it seems similar to some card-backs that I've seen, and there is a Spade making the 'V'.

Woooooo :rock: my favorite game series ever returns & I'm going to do my best to avoid everything about it until it releases on PC, every new gen GTA was spoilt for me with playing it to death on console before it arrived on PC, I enjoyed it on PC also but it left no surprises so I'm not even going to watch the trailers or view screen shots etc so it's time for me to test my gaming willpower for a change :D.

All I want to know about the new GTA is when is it released for PC :).

I suggested ages ago that they should allow for none lethal stops to attackers, like shoot the arms or legs instead of going for the kill just to disable them from using guns against you, I'd like that a lot in a GTA game for more variation of gameplay, hope they improve the hand to hand combat a lot too because it's always been crap, everything else though has been awesome :).

    Wow I can't wait :D.

I really enjoyed GTAIV, I'm currently re-downloading it as the lastest update + mods broke it. (16GBs takes forever on a 2Mb).
Vice City was brilliant mainly because some of it reminded me of ScarFace and I felt a bit like Tony. If they enlarged VC or made England that would be awesome. They might have to add some inaccuracies (like giving people guns), but I would still love it. The shitty driving AI in the earlier games would be perfect to recreate London driving where people randomly cut you up etc. I'm a delivery driver and have spent a lot of time in London witnessing this and would love to virtually go postal or drive on the pavement around traffic jams. Dunno if the American market would be that happy about it - would they be able to drive on the correct side of the road? The game would be tougher as well as everything costs more. The lack of muscle cars etc would suck though.
    GTA V(ictoria Line?)

I still can't figure out how I persuaded my parents to let me play that at such a young age.
