i've gotten to the tanker commander mission and every time i get to the drop off catalina offs the guy that we are handing it off to. since the guy is no longer alive to finish his lines the game freezes, but time still goes on. for instance, i used the get jetpack code (Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, Up, Down, Left, Right) and a jetpack appeared on CJ, but twenty inutes later the message you get (cheat activated or whatever) was still there. the days passed normally, i even saw a plane fly over my location, but i could not pause or move or anything. whats happening?
Rockstar don't like you to cheat, i personally never cheat until i've completed it, then its just extra fun But my point is that on VC if you cheated you couldn't complete the game fully, maybe it's the same on SA it just does different things, your problem maybe one of those, just a guess . Death
the only codes i use are the jetpack when i need to get somewhere fast, and tier 1 weapons, i don't use any others.
not necessarily - in VC, only certian cheats affected game completion status/ criminal rankings. others were safe to use: health armor all 3 weapons tiers suicide the rest (especially vehicle spawn and physics changers, i.e. drive on water, flying cars) would quickly dwindle your ranking to negative levels, and screw up some missions.
I beg to differ, i had to start that game more than once and one of them was cuz when i got to 99.9% i found out that some clever bast**d had put the health\amour cheat in so it wouldnt let me fully finish the game. Maybe the ones you listed don't stop you from enjoying the full game (well almost), just from 100% completion. Death
I cheat all the time in this game, never once had it glitch, freeze or screw up at all. Maybe your PS2/Game is bad or needs some cleaning.
the guy at the dropoff came up last night and started boxing with catalina, but she had a shotgun, she didn't fight fair. it almost reminds me of "pedestrians riot" code i tried once in VC
ah the good old 'undoable' riot cheat... made it impossible to do the ice cream mission. cheatin makes it crap, its really not that hard.
but riot wasn't on. before that i got all the way to the part where she says "premium gas", then she offs him
