Hi Guys, Scan are advertising a watercooling block for the GTX275, however they add a warning that they are for a VGA PCB, can anyone tell me how to check this on my Palit GTX275, many thanks in advance

Just giving you an good option here..

Go to Scan Contact Clicky and ask them via email, quoting your card part number and the part you wish to purchase.

You should have an answer with a day or two and be sure that if there is any problem in installation you have a fall back..

Scan deserve some credit, def give themn your business, they aced out all of my orders.

just a shot in the dark, because i next to nothing about water-cooling, but isn't that just stating that it's for a graphics card?

IIRC, the Palit GTX275 use a modified GTX285 PCB?

If you have no luck with scan you could try the manufacturer of the block - I know EK blocks and the like are normally fairly good at listing cards it's not compatible with (saying that I did need to mod my 3850 block so it didn't foul a cap! Grrrr!)

Alternatively check out a reference PCB for the 275 on google and compare it against yours.

Yup, the Palit GTX275 uses a 285 Board, so i would imagine you would need a 285 Block.

Many thank all , what confused me was the reference to VGA when the Palit card has 2 x Dual link DVI outputs. It appears that both Palit and Gainward use the same card and that there is a good Photo on the EK website of several different waterblocks I shall confirm that the Correct blockfor the Palit is an EK260/275/285
