    Got a gtx 480 that i slapped an arctic accelero extreme plus on - never any problems with heat or noise, just my case fans but am swapping to a corsair 550D from the nzxt hades i currently have and bunging a H100 in as well for good measure, should be nice and quiet and cool :thumb:

    Great great temps on my 470 with max voltage in Afterburner or Precision using an Artic Accellero Twin Turbo 2.

    Sorted the stutter problem by updating MSI Afterburner to 2.1 from my previous 2.0 installation.

    Also it looks like I have stable stock clocks at a voltage of 925mV on the core. Just need to run some tests in game but it's showing what latitude I should have when overclocking from the stock voltage. I'll have to pop my mains monitor plug in to see just how far the power draw has dropped with the decreasing GTX 480 voltage!

    Gelid is on it's way. Should have it tomorrow :) and the bits for modding my kuhler should arrive later this week. Ooo I'm gonna have me some overclocking fun :D

    Do you guys have any suggestions where to buy a GTX480 and EK blocks? I only find EVGA cards atm.

    Hmm I'll take a look for them! Is it wise to look for a card with a waterblock already?
    Since I don't think full cover blocks are sold separately on ebay, or not alot atleast..

    Ive been away since i posted in here, and will be busy for a few days but after that i will try out some overclocking :)

    I actually have another 480 which is under warrenty but needs RMA'ing... I wonder if EVGA will send me a new one or something else?!

    That sir is my fine handy work!! :D I used a dark blue acrylic and shaved it right down to about 2mil thick, then seated it under the backplate (which i sprayed Apline white to match the case) :thumb:

    JUst got rid of mine so i can run 3 screens. Changed for a 6970 and 'feels' slower. Only paid £160 for mine from Aria.

    Best card i have yet owned!! Aftermarket cooling on thou ofc.

    Well mine will be here tommorow and I'll be running two & a OC'd Phenom II on a HX850 so I'll let you know :) all the figures I've seen say it should be fine :)

    Not saying it wont but I had Corsair HX 1000 and two gtx 480 made it get really hot hence the Enermax PSU I now have
