    Hi All,

This is a bit of a random one ...

I sold one of my 580s before the 680's came out, and now am ready to sell the other. When I swapped it over with the new 680, I noticed that the sticker had come loose. I tried taking it off, and it has made a gawd awful mess.

This photo obviously uses the light to significantly highlight the problem, but you get the idea. I don't seem to be able to clean it up.

This will effect the re-sale value, so I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could get a new sticker that would fit nicely on this card? The card itself works well, so it would be a shame to lose money due to this ...

    Thanks for any tips!

A product called 'Goo Gone' is supposed to work quite well.

Does it not affect the plastic in any way? :) Could definitely do with something like this in my toolbox

Or Isopropyl alcohol, stuff you use to remove thermal compound works fine too

Edit: Not sure where to get a sticker though :p

No it doesn't affect the plastic at all, I use it all the time on anything I need to remove the gunk left from stickers :thumb:

This will melt the plastic :nono:

What? When has Isopropyl alcohol ever melted plastic? Yes the ethanol in it is an organic solvent but nowhere near enough to melt plastic. I have wiped several keyboards and other plasticky stuff with Isopropyl alcohol and never had a problem.

Sorry your right just the same the WD40 pen is the best I've tried lots of things and its definitely the best most of these things turn the glue into a sticky blob the WD 40 pen gets it of clean seals up the stickyness

It's Inno 3D. It just either needs to be cleaned up or have a new sticker put on it. Sounds like I will be cleaning it and selling blank.

Inno 3D isn't a massive brand, so no big loss.

just clean it to this level of cleanness :)
