The difference is though that AMD are rebranding the 7000 series cards for OEM's only iirc as they are not going to be sold at retailers. Nvidia on the other hand are rebranding some of the 600 series cards and making some tweaks apparently, and selling them to everyone as a whole brand new card. The only card in the 700 series that will basically be a new GPU is by the looks of it the GTX 780. However if rumours are to be believed AMD are releasing the 9000 series cards this year which apparently is a new GPU altogether and not just a rebrand, of the 7000 series and also apparently according to early figures is anything up to 30% faster than the 600 series from Nvidia iirc but I cannot remember where I saw, that figure but I will see if I can find it again later on today. I must admit I was tempted to sell my current 680's and get 2 titans but I am not so sure now as I might just wait till, next year and see what comes out as hopefully then there will be 27" 4K monitors for 4k surround gaming
Do we actually know if Nvidia will be making the 700 series for retail? It's possible it could be completely OEM-only like the 300 series...
Ugly b*stard, writes a lot of horse **** over on semiaccurate.com, almost always slagging off Nvidia because they don't like his made up stories.
specs confirmed as for the GTX 770 so ram is up to 7ghz , gpu clock is less than the EVGA GTX 680 Cheesecake version
Confirmed by more rumour posts. Till nvidia says this is your new 780 which will be the first card releases its difficult to say what we will get. I'd also be surprised if the Titan gets beat on performance by any of these cards that have been mensioned. The AMD 9000 series like the nvidia 7 series is gossip and rumours till either company decides to announce them. For most buyers the top end cards are too expensive either way so it will be the 770 if it releases that most are looking at.
confirmed by someone who has there hands on a retail pny card. http://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-...etail-images-leaked-specifications-confirmed/ you do know they were shown in china at the e games event yesterday? http://chinese.vr-zone.com/63961/nvidia-geforce-e-sports-with-gtx-780-at-shanghai-05182013/
Looks like someone accidentally left the 780 results in the table when they shouldn't have! http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/metro_last_light_graphics_performance_review_benchmark,6.html Bout where you'd expect it I'd say
Well reviews go live on Thursday apparently for the GTX 780's. Will be interesting to see how they perform.
