    but it hasn't really hit retail has it , if it had hit retail people would actually have the card now, it's just really available for pre-order.

    Cool! I can't wit (well, OK, I suppose I'll have to!) for the reviews, hopefully only a week away. I hope to be buying a 680 in a couple of weeks :)

    About 25% faster than a 580 – also the rig that was tested on only has i3 CPU – could be a bottleneck.

    That said, given they have tripled the shader count, I’m surprised it’s not faster.

    The i3 has probably bottlenecked it slightly on the min fps. They're going to run a 7970 in a i3 rig at the same settings for a better comparison.

    only thing an i5 is going to do for it is whatever the cpu will do...for it...there's no bottleneck there...seems to me the real bottleneck would be the os...am i wrong?
