http://www.maximum-tech.net/gtx-680-hit-retail-ahead-of-launch-10953/ Some sites listing already with prices
but it hasn't really hit retail has it , if it had hit retail people would actually have the card now, it's just really available for pre-order.
Cool! I can't wit (well, OK, I suppose I'll have to!) for the reviews, hopefully only a week away. I hope to be buying a 680 in a couple of weeks
About 25% faster than a 580 – also the rig that was tested on only has i3 CPU – could be a bottleneck. That said, given they have tripled the shader count, I’m surprised it’s not faster.
The i3 has probably bottlenecked it slightly on the min fps. They're going to run a 7970 in a i3 rig at the same settings for a better comparison.
It's all from this thread on OCN http://www.overclock.net/t/1231113/gigabyte-gtx-680-2gb-already-arrive-at-my-shop
only thing an i5 is going to do for it is whatever the cpu will do...for it...there's no bottleneck there...seems to me the real bottleneck would be the os...am i wrong?
