ARGH damn you sleep. Didn't even have to think about what that was :p

Maybe we should start a "Guess the F1 car" thread for the F1 nerds?

Bothered me too when I first saw them on teh web. I have NEVER seen one in real life and I was doing cars a lot back then. I'm trying to find manufacturer's specs on how many made. Couldn't have been a big seller.

Still too big. Most people including me are used to seeing the coupes and convertibles.

Still too big and GTOs only came in coupes and converts. Although there is a GTO station wagon in Aurora, CO that I guy made from a real GTO and a Le Mans wagon.I would love to see someone make a Superbird wagon. Nosecone and hood on a Satellite wagon. My kind of foolishness.

The car in question is indeed a GM product as most have been guessing.

Ralph Nadar would hate it? Looks like a Corvair to me.

    Edit:

Same picture cheesecake. Props be to my father for knowing what the rear quarter of a corvair looks like.

It is indeed a 4dr hardtop Corvair. I've never seen a real one, only coupes, and convt, and greenbriars(truck and van). This site has some nice Corvairs. The last gen really does still have some nice looks.

    Furyy has a go!
