Sidepanel crease, no fuel filler cap, bootlid is all sorts of wrong, alloys not wire wheels, no side vent. http://www.autogaleria.pl/tapety/img/aston_martin/aston_martin_db5_1964_01_b.jpg I'm pretty stuck at the moment; body looks '60s-'70s carrozeria. Hmmm
Looks a bit like a 1954 Lancia Aurelia , it's just not right though no crease and boot lid not the same??.
That's the part of your post I wholeheartedly agree with! (Forgive me the somewhat sarcastic tone though - I'm just enjoying my 15 minutes of GTC fame after the quickly identified Mustang.) In short: wrong era, wrong manufacturer, wrong country.
It thickens alright. But the 'Italian connection' I mentioned is rather pronounced and I would classify this standard production model as 'forgotten' rather than genuinely obscure.
No. As I've already said, I did expect Jaguar-related associations but any design similarities appear to be coincidental. It's not a Daimler either.
really struggling with this one, reminds me of the triumph italia, but the boot and wing mirrors don't match up Not an old bugatti is it?
I'm guessing Bertone/Ghia/Pinifarina/someone design but I can't work it out yet, closest I've got so far is the BMW 3200 CS which was Bertone but it isn't that...hmm.
Come on, it's been already established that you're dealing with a non-Italian production car. I'm not saying anything else because - unlike some really unfairly tough stuff I've posted in the past - this one is perfectly 'legit' GTC material.
Simca 1200S Bertone Coupé? [EDIT]Behold, the magical cheesecake. God Bertone made a lot of wedge-shaped concepts.[/EDIT] OK, new toy. This shouldn't take long but it's such a weird one I couldn't resist;
Just for clarification, your 'magical cheesecake' was not quite the same pie but you got the right car. Congratulations! That new thing certainly looks, hmm, interesting, by the way.
