I get 53 in a hit with a spell, Power Spike, intterupt enemy casting spell and does 53dmg.

 

I can get around 60 with my current bow with no skills applied but can add up to 75% +11*2 to that if I use kindle arrows and double shot (that knocks it up to about 120). however kindle arrows doesn't do any splash damage while burn arrows do but they only hit for 8 and double shot is a once off use with a 10 sec cool down.

Mine is simply Stick Eh ( for my main R/Me lvl 17 char,) or
Stick Ette ( my Mo / N lvl 7 , pre-searing char, yes shes female and very small! )

Got caught out buying rune for secondary profession

Anyone getting into main game, ONLY BUY RUNES FOR MAIN PROFESSION!!!!!

well as im on the west coast US it would be kinda laggy on European districts

 

I've played on the American (International) servers with a guy from Deleware (sp?), the lags not to bad. although I can only see district 1. You can still talk to players on other servers and add them to your friends list.

 

Now getting upto 110 per hit with a 17-31 hammer.
Anyone getting more than this with a weapon? (not including spells).

Sweet, now got a 18-35 (Req 11 Hammer Mastery), not sure what the max damage is yet?
Also now lvl 12

EDIT: Seems to do 120+ damage per hit, and I am now LVL 13
EDIT AGAIN: Wow, manage 155 damage with hammer , also created Mo/R now lvl 6

 

Does anyone know what the best weapons are, i.e. best war hammer 18-35?
Best wand:
Best staff:
Best sword:
Best axe:
etc.

This would give me some idea what to look out for

Also, is there a crafter about (not just an armorer or weapon guy), who makes half decent stuff?

 

I think

Hammer is 18-35
Sword is 15-22
Wand is 11-20

Not sure on staffs, but then again could not see why you'd want one, as compared to a wand/energy object they don't really rate. Axes again not sure, but I do know the max is higher than swords, but the min is lower (it might be something like 8-26). The collectors in the desert onwards tend to have max-damage equipment up for grabs...

I have a rather nice Trucheon Wand 11-20 damage, +13 energy Combined with an offhand +12 idol it bumps up the old energy a bit.

Beats any wand and energy object i own.

+13 energy (-1 energy regen)

Idol

+12 energy
+13 energy (-1 energy regen)

Giving me a total Energy of 66. The energy regen doesn't matter so much for Necros, as we have Soul Reaping to get it back (and I have an Elite that sacrifices health for Energy). I haven't seen a staff yet that can match that...

That's pretty bitchin, but as a 'mentalist i cant do without energy regain. Topping 60E and 452 health but my HP craps out totally after just a couple of hits

 

You need new armour...I had that problem when I first hit Lions Arch, but once I'd got the armour in Beetletun I took take a lot more hits...

I currently saving up for my set of 15,000 gold armour set (thats 15,000 a piece )

mentalist armour is crap. Currently 39 on all and the best it gets is 60.

 

Well, I saw a 19-35 hammer last night. They were asking 4500g

I paid 1000g for my 18-35

15000 each for armour
That's gotta take some time to save

 

I have 3 of the 4 parts now, just need another 15,000 for the gloves.

I've given a friend of mine an 18-35 vampiric war-hammer with loads of other bonuses...apparently its worth a small fortune...so should have sold it, and then I've have my funky new armour set :-( All armour but Warrior is not amazing...Necro tops out at 70, and all other spellcasters at 60 I think. Then again, I suppose warriors need some benefit...
