Hi guys i need help, i've recently REINSTALLED xp due to the fact that that freakin microsoft corpration adds viruses in the xp when bought on site. you can tell that when you use antivirus software when it scans, like ''xxx dial up'' or chicago gambler'' or etc... yea this viruses are not on in effect until ''the time comes'' yea pretty much on the timing part it happens, forcing you to BUY antivirus product's then ''deleting it'' and on top antivirus software such as mcafee, kerspaky, norton and panda, all have trojens themselves thus enabling you to ''buy other '' antivirus products; and there all on the same group, yo find these hidden but at times in the computer registry, may God destroy them all... any way, my sound card is not recognised and it says in the audio devices menu ''no audio devices found''... whats up guys?? i also removed the sound card then turned the computer again to see the computer confirms anything then assembled it back again to make it confirm that the sound card is in the PCI-E slot. nothing... do i need toinstall the diver first ?? if so what website please?? will it confirm it has an audio by then? thanks
Microsoft doesn't add viruses to xp. And if your using spybot search and destroy, and reading the things at the bottom when its scanning, thats just what its scanning for. Maybe you should stop visting dodgy websites. We can't tell you what website to get the driver from as you've not told us what sound card you've got.
lol yea right any way the antivirus trojen part wa true but thanks for the caution ... X-FI creative sound blaster extream gamer good thinking lol i was thinking it all backwards some websites my dad goes on lol
install the card in a relevant slot. Go the the creative labswebsite, turn off pop up blocker. Download the creative active x tool this should detect your card and advise you of the right driver to install. the driver can be had here
What sound card do you have? The advice above is only good if you actually have a Creative sound card don't forget.
xtream gamer X-FI and thanks alot guys il be going to crack it all up, il post any thing else if something bad occours
lol I take that back cerberus .. i just used speed optimiser on my computer and found 55 invalid registry's LOL and i just reinstaleed windows xp yesterday and didn't go on any website other than s4 league.com and bit tech ....loolololol
Thats probably because speedoptimizer is adware. I just did a search on Mcafee SiteAdvisor, and it lists speedoptimizer as a yellow site as one of the downloads they tested was adware/virus. Also, those things usually report invalid registrys when there not really, they could just be file types not being used or even temp files or something.
