It might not look like a good picture because of the camera, but I think it looks great. Polish it anymore and you'll make a hole

    Love that res!

However, I wonder if you will finish this project before a couple of your sponsors go out of business? ;)

Oh, and also: YOUR PICTURES ARE TOO SMALL! There, I said it.

Thanks. I AM done, I had to let the NUC blow over before I could post.
Bill called earlier about the same thing. He thought that last post was the finale. -That amuses the hell out of me still.

    The Helterskelteroir. :D

Helter skelter always meant super fun happy slide to me, not Charles Manson, bit of a difference. :duh::lol:

Breathtaking Cheaps, There are layered builds then there's this ... me I'm very happy it's taken a while to get this far as I'd have missed this build.

    Thanks.:D
@Waynio -Helterresiskeltivoir is slightly less painful to read.
@Asouter -You'd have to away a loooong time.
@Silicon -You could have moved on and complimented my big tube...
    -anyway

-There was a marathon modding session to move Gigi's guts in from the temp case. My first move was to wet my bed...with coolant. I had to tear down the motherboard assembly and get it cleaned up.
I also had to switch some long screws off the SB block.
-Eww plasticizer spew! I swapped the clear lines out for black while I was at it.
-And again, why waste your time trying to clean with ketchup when you can zap the ick in seconds with toilet cleaner. I put a drop on a toothbrush, and the pins went from black to this in 3 seconds. You can still see dark where I didn't touch with cleaner.
-Putting the entire rig together for the first time had it's problems. I somehow forgot to take the PSU into account when I cut this fan wire hole.
-So the case has to put on a girly skirt so I can drill a hole and not get crud in the motherboard.
    -Getting there.
-I started feeding wires into the duct and under the motherboard. I'm not sure if there is any room for air.
-There's barely any room for anything. I had to cut the unwieldly heatshrink off the ATX plug to get it under the cover.
-At this point I noticed another thing I forgot: the wire hole for the back fan! Heck! I had it taped off and marked at one point too.
So I had to pull the PSU and SR1 radiator again... More dressup...
-I snapped a few WIP pics and slept on it.
-So there's that clunky power cable.
-To my shock the adjusted GPU mount plate still had the right marks on it.
-There was an even greater shock that it fit in the case too.
-Note to self: Make more of these access panels next time, and raise the board up more too. The SATA cables had a knack for turning so they blocked other cables. They were all like, "You. shall. not. pass!" and stuff.
-I ended up with way too much USB cord too. I had to stuff it behind the PSU.
-Look at that long blue buggerer. I thought I would be happy with the extra, but two extension cords was too much.
-Yipes! I spy the cathode inverter in the blind spot of the duct. I supplemented my attempted SATA cable dye job with permanent marker. -classy.
-One of those last-second fittings. Here I'm marking where the mobo cover needs to be trimmed. I couldn't do this before because I didn't have the metal plate finished.
-******! Who designed this thing? Honda? To get one of the cover screws on, I have to pull the pump barbs and use a flex extension on the screwdriver. You will notice the drive head and screw are taped together. That's the downside of stainless screws: You can't rely on a magnetic screwdriver to hold on to it.
    -Yay! Everything is together!
-I mean, there's tubes and everything! It's like it could be finished or... wait.
I filled the loop and tried to prime the pump at this point. I got nothing but that nasty stink of burning electronics. I thought about it for a few seconds and guessed I had slapped the wires back in the molex connector backwards. I had to take the molex plug off to route the wires, after all.

    Thanks again:

The one cardinal rule: "It's not modded if there isn't smoke"-still holds true for the acrylic god. :duh:

Good to see wire routing done by cheaps that doesn't look like an apple maps new york freeway:thumb:

 It does, you just can't see it. That's why I used the black plastic.

@Amagriva -There's a lot of prism effect too that I can't seem to catch on camera.
@Craig- The original plan was to have the wiring modular and built in. I don't want to know how long something like that would have taken.
