    Hooray for Colorado weather!
Lived here all my life, and I still love the snow, wind, and everything.

John got mail! The devil will need to buy a parka now.:D

From the looks of the outer box, BT should have added another box to the inside. It looks like it came all the way from the UK UNDER the truck.

    @Voluntary Pariah-Thanks.:D

I thought that was an enormous amount to pay for shipping too!:jawdrop: The US Post Office has a new large Flat rate box for International that goes for $13.95 about whether you send bricks or feathers.

The AC Ryan package is coming next - still in the works.:thumb:

USPS flat rate is great. I know someone who shipped a box with copper jacketed lead pellets. -about 30 pounds worth.
Now let's hope customs doesn't sit on CF set #2...

...and you need to come up with a motherboard for your new toy.

Marilyn's eBay store has been going nuts this last week or 2. We've been using the flat rate boxes for boardgames like Warhammer 40K, Warmaster, etc. Heavy boxes - one rate.

I'll put the new shiny in my core 2 Vista Home Pro rig as soon as I upgrade the PSU. The video card says 450watt minimum and I'm only at 400.

    How about?

Since Langer and the Carbon Fibre panels are lost in the whatever!

How about I make the case from bulletproof Lexan?

    http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=165028

Seriously durable stuff and it would allow the interior highlights to be shown.

It would be seriously hard to work with but it's available in quantity and it's our project! What do you think?

How about a simple posterboard wrapper with a note saying "This space reserved for CF stuck in customs"?

Let's see! BT has had plexi, wood, paper, alum., steel, leather, and other things I might have missed. What would be a good case material for the tiny toy that hasn't been used much or at all?

Put on the thinking caps! Trying to make our project as original as possibe.

Maybe use that thin almost see through fabric that gets used inside windows, that people use to allow some privacy during the day, but lets heaps of sunlight through  You'd have to make sure all the edges are sanded smooth, and all the corners are rounded a little to avoid tearing. You'd have some awesome venting and filtration that's for sure!
If you wanna get creative, you could have each side almost appear as though cobwebs are present, by coloring in all the "squares" of the web with black texta :naughty:

Cloth is a good idea. Maybe I should get out one of my sewing machines and quilt up some side panels. [IMG]

*Ahem* cloth's been done. So has needlepoint. -I call dibs on macaroni and glitter!!! The only thing I haven't seen in a pooter yet would be that string pattern art that was hot in the early '70s.
Dude! There's a baby head peeking between the white and yellow blankets!?!?! Creepy!
