You could - and I have - take any old piece of fabric from FabricLand and press it on top of the panels too. It's a cool effect and depending on the fabrics you use can have some very unique properties. I pressed a led zepplin T shirt once while working the night shift

I love that carbon bikini :naughty:

Having all the top & sides all as one assembly, that hinges up together sounds awesome  I wouldn't be cutting boring rectangles for windows or vents, i'd go for some angles or some sort of cool shape... maybe use steath fighters for inspiration on vent styles?

Still here but doing real world things helping Marilyn get ready for her hand surgery.

13 rooms - 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, ... is a lot to get ready so she doesn't have to do much.
I even learned that sheer curtains are to be hung up damp from the washer and not dried.

The cleaning, of course... there's nothing scarier than a dissatisfied wife... especially one in pain.

    The carbon can wait.

You guys ever see "Weekend at Bernie's".

When she got attacked as a teacher and had 3 surgeries on her right hand the Drs. gave her stuff for the pain.

Put her on the couch I did and she just nods off during conversations with visitors. I'm hoping for the same zombie smiling couch potato snoring on the couch again.

You could chainsaw in the next room and she wouldn't know.

PS: Can you scan x-rays. I have the one's from the other hand with the stainless pins(5) holding her together?

    Hey,
nice case, but on to the important stuff.

Yep, you can scan an x-ray. All you need is a flat bed scanner and a light box. Put the the X-ray on the scanner and put the light box on top, light side down. You have no idea the number of PostDocs that get that one wrong. Sometimes you'll need to place tracing paper between the x-ray and the light box to act as a neutral density filter if there is too much bleed through of light. If it is an old school light box that gets hot, place some spacers to hold it off the x-ray to prevent any possibility of damage. I used to scan x-ray film all the time in my previous job... Sheesh, time change...

oh yeah, nice work by the way...

M was a teacher for elementary school Special Needs children. One of the autistic boys went Van Helsing on her with the wooden pencils. Wrestling in the hallway trying to defend herself. Damaged all the tendons and ligaments in right hand. Ended her career. Wrist ended up having to be fused.

Ouch! If it had been a normal student, she could have just stomped his face in. (Well, that's how they seem to operate here...)

They don't hand out the good stuff anymore. You will be quite busy. I hope everything goes well, though.

Ouch! Being a teacher can be dangerous even with normal students.

In my country some students threatened the teacher with an axe so they would get passing grades.

Hope everything goes OK with the surgery

Being a Special Needs teacher also has it's rewards. Ms. Marilyn came home crying a couple years ago and I ask what was wrong

    "She learned her phone number!"

2 1/2 years working with this girl and she finally learned the home phone number.

    Patience in bukkit loads.

Or some artifact found on a distant planet or moon?

PSU, optical, HDD in the hinged box with all leads coming down out of MB tray?
The foam piece is just one of the Exo Terra backgrounds for a terrarium.

Sit the clear plexi MB tray flat on the foam with enough space around so that the blue CCFL from inside glows underneath. Like the green glow from theTommy knockers film.

Use the expandable foam from terrarium building to hide the case and build up the top foam in places.

Solid CF box with no cuts. Hinge it in the rear to lift up and show the H2O features.

I was cleaning one of the vivariums and remembered this post.

Vent the lower box. PSU fan blowing out - add a nice 120mm in the rear, run the I/O out the wooden box, disguise the fans and I/O with some more foam. If the framework for the MB and pump/rec is made more open - like an erector set - and not a solid plexi plate one should get airflow sucking everything out the wooden box. Leave the channel looking parts of the top foam to act as air intakes too.

Still playing with it between laundry and pimping the crib.
