So. I've been asked, as a birthday present, to provide a hairdryer - A good one. As someone who either doesn't dry his hair or didn't wash it in that particular shower, I have no idea what a 'good one' means. My suggestion of a Bosch hot air gun was shot down immediately, FWIW. Do any of you with slightly more personal grooming experience have any suggestions?

Whenever I buy hairdryers as gifts for my mother or wife etc I usually get Nicky Clarke. https://www.nickyclarke.com/shop/electricals/hair-dryers/ You need to know specifically what he/she needs it for. Just a basic dryer? or diffuser? etc. From there it's up to how much you want to spend, but I usually go for the ones around fifty nicker.
Sweet zombie Jesus. That's more than I've spent on car drying products! I think it's just a general hair drying exercise. I don't recall anything fancy, her hair is kinda thick though.

I've got a Nicky Clarke trimmer set that's the dog's bollocks, for what it's worth. They are kinda the household name in girly salon stuff. I gave up on hair dryers, though, my hair just doesn't even want to know.
As much as she might like it, I'm not willing to drop three hundred notes on something for drying hair >.> I knew the brand GHD, but I couldn't decide if they were the Fatal1ty of hair products tbh. They seemed all flash and no different features (Although, how many features are really necessary to dry hair..) to anyone else. Interesting. Hm. I'll have to investigate. So far I've been pointed at Nicky Clarke, GHD, and Braun that're all in the price range/running. I guess they're all much of a muchness though.
She does want a tumble dryer. I'm not sure she'd go for the skinhead look, though, being German and already predisposed to preferring Bavarian things.
