Hi dude, nice prgress on the case, first off i want to know how u wired up the fan controller to change colour i wouldnt mind doing that on my inferno case, which btw hasnt had a guide or any mention on this forum yet since it was mostlly finished when done, and i dont think its that good.

I described the steps in "Butterkneters Hole-Guide". Its very easy, test it on a Jewel-Case or something like that

Tonight i worked on the right side of the case. I put some Lattice into the holes behind the motherboard. After that i "rusted" the inner case. Last i painted the stripes with black and yellow paint.





Afterwards i cut out the HL2-Logo



Here i tested the Logo and the sidepanel.



After that i put some broken glas behind the sidepanel (fastened with some bolts)



Afterward the HL2-Logo received some orange LEDs



And by night...

Before I read this thread I thought "come on... stop those hl2 mods... everytime the same rust style sucks..." but I got to say: it's not that bad! Mod on!

Here is my new BIG update. First i have "rusted" the inner case. After that the inner case get a clearcoar-layer to save the hardware



After that i installed the front fan behind the broken glass. Here by Day



And here by night....



Now i worked on the top of the case. My system will get only an aircooling-system, but maybe i will install a watercooling-system later. So i have to "dremel" a hole for a top-fan. Furthermore i installed two grasps.



After that i have to install the front-usb-sound-modul on the top of the case. Here the cover of the box, where i have to install the modul.

Love your side panel, especially the lighting behind the HL2 logo and the broken glass.

I really like how this is coming out. Piloux's was awesome, and so is this. Although, I happen to like the effect you got with the broken window better than Piloux's!

How did you get the plexi to look like that?

First i broke the plexi by hand, after that i broke some small peaces with a pliers.

 

Here is my new UPDATE.

Now i worked on the PSU. I take a SuperSilent 450 Watt with a 120mm Fan. Some bolts and rust to make them old



It's done...



Some Troughings... to hide the cables.

 

This is exactly what I was going to do too, but I didn't get this idea from you I got it from that guy who made the burning chrome mod!


But where did you get that little white box from?
