This is good news. The time frame they had before was too short for them to produce a good quailty movie. And Hopefuly they keep the story line and not make a movie like doom ended up as. I wonder if this will disrupt the game

What a surprise...a Microsoft product shipping late ;)
Let's hope it's better than the Doom movie (granted, that won't take much)

BTW, linky no work - goes to news forum rather than this topic...

I can see this being spectacularly bad, but I'm hoping it's gonna surprise me, so far, the only game to film thats worked ok has been resident evil (oh and Mortal Kombat, you can't beat some good old flawless victory).

I thought that Guillermo Del Toro was appointed to direct like 3 months ago..... He did an awesome job with Hellboy, and his attention to detail and the fact that he actually listens to the creative minds behind things... O well.

    Dejavu? Halo and LOTR:

    1) Peter Jackson
    2) New Zealand
    3) Both have a ring

Maybe they should call it: "Lord of the Halo". I bet they get more crowd to the theater then.

Looks like Uwe Boll missed the boat on this one.
