Motors Hammond in Jet powered car crash

I only just donated cos my new card only arrived today.

 

Well, to be fair, some readers are at school or don't have jobs so I wouldn't expect those guys to fork out £20. But for anyone with a half decent job and cash in the bank, cough up £10 or £20 or whatever in the name of a good cause.

Indeed, if you're a driver, it could be you they scoop up off the M1 and air-lift to a hospital!

He has been moved into a Normal Ward, of thats the way to say it. Im not being rude or anything, and ok, The Air Ambulance maybe important, but sometimes i wonder if we forget other really important charitys like the RNLI, oh thats the main one For something thats in out history, maritime history is in our blood as a nation, and our Life Boat/guard service is a Charity, i think that is totaly wrong, from what i heard theres water all around the country i live in, and its not acceptable, if someone from the Labour Party is reading this, The RNLI and the Air Ambulance Service should not under any circumstances be a Charity, if they save lives, The government can Pay for them, otherwise ile start giving money to the NHS to give me a slightly better chance of getting a better service

When someone who has recently been in a critical condition says "hey cocksuker" to a friend, you kinda know he's going to make it through.

 

Nah Jeremy Clarkson wrote in some Column for the Sunday that BBC or the Politicians or anyone against these actions done for TV should understand that the producers just sign all these contracts and keep asking them are they sure, etc etc, when actually the hosts come up with these crazy ideas.

In this case Hammond was the one who came up with the idea of doing a shoot of this crazy rocket car.

 

Someone told me that May was originally meant to be doing this feature, but due to a diary clash, Hammond did it instead.

 

Captain Slow doing 300mph? I don't think so

 

Yeah I just can't see May at anything over 60. without much coercion. *grin*

 

May was suposed to do it, but from what i heard and if my memory isnt corupt, i think it was something personal that stoped him, probably the speed of the vehicle. Cant wait for Top Gear to return.

Have donated my £20 to the charity. Total is now up to almost £140k and the target has been changed to £0.5m - the aim is now to buy another helicopter for the ambulance trust, and they're going to name it "Hammy''s Heli"...

 

Think that was the point initially.
Supposdly a calender clash led to Hammond volunteering to step in. Spose this will all be clarified at a later date though

 

That woudl be quality to see. wonder if he wudnt wear a helment so we could see his cruly locks falp about. while iam all for greener car and do belive that we should use our cars less. I wouldnt want to live in a world without topgear. I know we have to look after our planet but that doesnt mean we shouldnt have thing thats we can enjoy as well. hope the hamster get well soon and we get our new seris of topgear,
