In my metro area we have the only World War I memorial. It is reopening this weekend after a multi-million dollar renovation. Appropriately enough, it's a 217-foot phallus, locally referred to as 'the dick of death' in some circles (for various reasons best not explored in detail here).

Friday: took the kids to Six Flags (huge amusement park) all day... not many people there, rode EVERYTHING... not to hot... excellent day. Sat: taking kids to Star Wars for matinee and then getting reaquanted with my couch Sun/Mon: Taking my niece home to my sister's house and spending the night. Monday having big cook out with fam. whew...

Yeah, I'm in SA. Not many people down here seem to be into the entire modding thing. It would have been nice to see another with the same interests in the nether regions of hte US of A.
that's kind of ironic, back in the 70's when I lived there, some considered it the computer center of the universe with TI and some other companies in SA. There are some talented folks in Texas, Monolith and Cold Dog, just not in SA. Trust me, your better off than in my neck of the woods...
