Computer keeps hard locking on me and I've no idea why. Tried different RAM and another GFX, same issues.

Doesn't matter if I'm gaming or just surfing the net. It hardlocks and I have to hit and hold the reset button till it shuts off and reboots.

Tried doing a full format/reinstall, same issue.

    Code:
    Problem signature:
      Problem Event Name:	BlueScreen
      OS Version:	6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1

What sort of CPU and GPU temps are you getting at idle and load - ideally just before lock up?

While you're looking at those - have a look at this thread here. A number of options/approaches discussed.

Intel D 960 @ stock, temps are well within reason (CPU @ 55c/60c when gaming GPU around 68c/70c also when gaming)

Well, that's temperature probably ruled out

(I assume you also had a look in "Event Viewer" for clues?)

The BCCode: 124 usually relates to a BSOD-type error; but you aren't getting one because it's W7. Your other BCP codes give nothing away - less, possibly, BCP2 which makes no sense to me. Therefore you might consider downloading Nirsofts MyEventViewer from here and give that a run and see what error messages it produces.

Some more actions/lines of inquiry are covered in this useful article here (read W7 for Vista)

Still having the same problems... But think I may have resolved the issue.

I'm using a Samsung 2233 3D monitor at 120hertz. After switching it down to a mere 60hertz, no more lockups.

I'm using the proper 120hertz DVI cable, so that's not the issue (not that a DVI cable could cause the PC to crash to my knowledge..?)

Just sucks getting a headache from such a low refresh rate.
