I saw the screenies and I thought it was caps from Prey 2. The HUD could be a little less garish though.
I know what you mean, florescent, glowing bars could be off putting. But if that's the only problem the game suffers from then it's going to be pretty awesome.
Does it sound as promising as this, though (which was posted two hours before you started this thread)? Just wondering
Hard Reset? Wow Microsoft really is innovating when they can turn BSOD's into a game! Oh, wait. totally unrelated. That does look good. There really isn't enough cyberpunk stuff out there. I still wish someone would do the classics in game form, ie Snowcrash universe, and Gibson's sprawl/bridge universe and make them good.
You mean they're not? - that explains it - all that wasted time trying to get to the next level - cyan screen of death!!!
I tried the demo, and to be honest, didn't really get it.Having said that the morphing gun was cool. The combat seemed kind of cheap, the enemies (if you didn't electrocute them) took stupid amounts of bullets to kill, and seemed to be able to move faster than you, also the menu screen slide changing thing is extremely irritating (it's way to slow when you want to change options)
My thoughts exactly. It's all well and good doing a Serious Sam style wave of enemies, but when your weapons do little damage and there's not much room to strafe it's a bit annoying.
Another trailer that shows sweet f*ck-all Note to developers: You don't sell movies, you sell games. Please show us how the game works instead of your damn CGI skills edit: meh, I didn't even notice the date of the first post.. *sigh* neverminnnnd
you do know that you can upgrade your guns right ? and as for the menu there'll be a "fast menu" option to remove that long animated menu
