Morning all. I was looking at something on the Epic Store today - RF Online Next. It looks like it might be a sort of Titanfall-online. Then I thought I don't remember seeing a recommendations thread on here, although we do have "What are you playing now?" and "What's on your horizon?" but I thought these might not cover games where someone has picked them up and gone "Nah. No way", so I created this one. Not just for "Nah"s though, more a place for us to query our fellows, rather than go hunting for reviews. Like all good relationships, we kind of know what turns each other on so thought this might be of more value. Plus not as much review gumpf to have to wade through if you don't want to. If it's not worth the time as covered elsewhere, I'll happily remove or let the mods do their thing. But just in case, I'll kick off by querying the above - RF Online Next. I know there's a few Mech Warrior/Gundam fans on here, so what's the SP on this one? Worth the time, especially if I can get the kids onboard, or another grind-fest of little calorific value?
I looked at it and watched some Youtube... it's a MMO with 'highly automated gameplay,' so I think I'll pass. Titanfall it certainly is not.
I remember playing RF Online when it first came out in around 2005? jesus was it that long ago? I can only remember the starting area and being excited to get my mech.
