Everyone chipped together and got me a 250GB Xbox to replace my old one with Forza 4 + Skryim Download Also got: Blackops 2 Crysis 2 Dark Knight Rises Box of 12x500ml Ales 4 bottle cider collection 6 Budweiser Chocolate Oh and Guinness book of world records 2013 its kind of a tradition now, i've had the new book every year for about 8 or 9 years
Walked away with a swag wool coat, a couple shirts, some pajamas and a pair of gaiters. Plus various stocking things like chocolates. Very happy for all of them, and put most of it to use already.
Got some money, which is supposed to be earmarked towards getting components I need to replace my now defunct rig. Since I already broke my piggy bank and bought those components I can either save the money or put it towards getting a new graphics card to complement the new PC. Hasn't been the most fun of christmases, tbh. Also, not really looking forward to putting my new rig together. Something always has the habit of going wrong.
6 pack of heineken Bottle of generic Irish Creme ( less than half the price of Baileys & just as nice ) 660g tub of Cadbury Eclairs Tin of Cadbury Roses plus bottle of sparkling white wine & another tin of Roses from work. When you reach a certain age, you tend to not really care any more about what you get as what you do want/need tends to be either rather niché, or more expensive than can be reasonably justified by your friends/family to spend on a present ( unless you have a wealthy family & friendship circle, in which case you suck & I hope you die ). If I can eat it and/or drink it, that's fine by me.
I asked for nothing this year, because I've been looking for work and well money that my better half brings in is better spent on other things. However she made me smile this year and I'm not sure how. 1/. Hubble: The Print Collection: 14 Frameable Prints (just awesome to stair at) 2/. British Steam Railways (something new and different to read) 3/. History Year by Year (Again something interesting to pickup and flick though) 4/. Leffe promotional pack, 1 blond & 1 brown and a Glass 5/. Rotary Men's Skeleton Watch, this one bought a tear to my eye. I said last year to ban CD's, DVD's with the exception of mind blowing expensive box-sets as their is no value in them as a "Gift". By which I mean deep thought into what that person would truly enjoy but not think of getting it for themselves. She's really captured what I meant in terms of gifts.

A new everyday watch from my wife: http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/d/9660372/sekonda+men's+gold+plated+black+leather+strap+watch/ Far Cry 3 and a Toblerone (yummy) from my parents 24 Season 8 and some socks (much needed) from my in-laws. I had all other seven but never did get around to buying the last series. Acronis True Image 2013 Upgrade - bought for me by me (only £15 in a Christmas special) And some perks from work - BT Infinity Option 2 installed on the 18th December just in time for Christmas. It's free whilst I am employed by them (15.5 years so far so its a long term thing!). Nice.
Very nice watch, I do like my Rotary watch that I keep for best, i.e. family weddings etc. I bought my Nan's partner the same Steam Railways book for Christmas and ended up having to buy another as I started to flick through it myself and found it very interesting so had to keep that copy for myself! My step-Grandfather is well into steam railways so always try to get him something each year to do with steam railways.
