They just look like they've taken a kick in the nards.

I should imagine that the area these guys are expected to patrol would be quite large. Given crowds, accessibility etc, a Segway would probably be more practical than a car. If things heat up too much, they can always ditch the Segways and fun for cover in less time than it would take to abandon a car.

you gotta be fking kidding me... taking steady shots while moving? yes, sure, but you'd have to instruct the terrorist NOT to run up a set of stairs (or down, even better).

I'm having the image in my mind of a terrorist running away with all these military halfwits queueing up for the invalid-ramp, slowly zig-zagging their way to the top.

And about the "making a killshot while moving" arguement... the only time you'd be moving in a gunfight is from cover to cover, and in that case you're only shooting to convince the other guy to lay low a bit.

If this squad came up to me i'd indeed be scared... scared to laugh so hard that they'll be offended enough to shoot.
